Cracks in Time II continues my exploration of geological time and the gradual dissolution of all accumulated existence. Ancient rock appears solid and eternal, yet beneath its surface countless ages are compressed into fragile layers. As time advances, these layers fracture, expand, and slowly lose their original structure. The cracks no longer signify simple erosion but reveal the inevitable transformation through which all forms return to formlessness. Created with oil paint and UV-reactive pigments, this work visualizes time as a flowing force rather than a fixed dimension. The shimmering mineral-like textures and vivid currents of color evoke energy embedded deep within the earth, while the expanding fissures suggest the irreversible movement toward entropy. Rather than depicting destruction, Cracks in Time II reflects the quiet cycle through which existence releases its accumulated meaning. In the end, time dissolves every form, allowing it to return to the infinite state of emptiness from which it once emerged.
