I See You Ⅶ explores the presence that becomes more distinct within silence. Emerging from a deep violet atmosphere, the flower appears to generate its own light, transforming from an organic form into a luminous crystalline presence that resists the surrounding darkness. The petals are constructed through numerous faceted planes in delicate pink, peach, lavender, and golden tones. Light seems to originate from the center and travel outward through the crystalline structure, creating the impression that the flower is simultaneously reflecting light and holding it within itself. The contrast between the radiant bloom and the dark background intensifies its sense of presence. Created with oil paint and UV-reactive pigments, the work contains visual layers that respond differently to changing illumination. This transformation reflects Jennifer Lee’s continuing exploration of visible and invisible realities, suggesting that memory and emotion can remain present even when they are no longer immediately perceptible. Within the I See You and Crystal Flower series, I See You Ⅶ expresses the artist’s belief that everything that exists leaves a trace.
