The Melody of Angels II – Version 4 is the final work in a four-part series developed from The Melody of Angels II. While preserving the same conceptual foundation, this concluding variation expands the expressive range of light by introducing a new balance of color temperature, texture, and chromatic contrast. Rather than treating light as a fixed phenomenon, I approached it as an ever-changing presence whose emotional character shifts through subtle changes in color. The introduction of luminous greens alongside vibrant reds and deep blues transforms the atmosphere of the painting, suggesting that a single source of light can evoke entirely different emotional experiences through variations in color and energy. Created with oil paint and UV-reactive pigments, the work unfolds through two interconnected visual layers. Under ordinary illumination, the interaction of warm and cool colors creates a heightened sense of movement, depth, and radiant vitality. Under ultraviolet light, another hidden image gradually emerges, revealing an invisible dimension that coexists with the visible one. Together, these two realities demonstrate how light can continuously transform perception. As the concluding work in this four-part investigation, The Melody of Angels II – Version 4 brings together my research into color temperature, texture, luminous intensity, and emotional perception. The series confirmed that light is not merely a physical phenomenon but a flexible artistic language capable of generating entirely different visual and emotional experiences. These explorations became an important foundation for my later Crystal Flower series, where light functions as the bridge between abstraction and representation.
