The Melody of Angels II(A Sea of Three Suns V) – Version1  continues my exploration of the symbolic suns introduced in the A Sea of Three Suns series. Rather than depicting light as a passive source of illumination, this work presents it as a living force that radiates energy, movement, and transformation. The painting imagines one of the three suns as a luminous presence whose light continuously expands through space. Its radiant forms dissolve the boundary between matter and energy, suggesting that light is not merely something we see, but a force that shapes perception, emotion, and consciousness. Through an abstract visual language, the work transforms light into an active presence that fills and reshapes the surrounding world. Created with oil paint and UV-reactive pigments, the painting unfolds through two interconnected visual layers. Under ordinary illumination, vibrant colors, dynamic brushwork, and explosive forms evoke the overwhelming vitality of light. Under ultraviolet light, another hidden image gradually emerges, revealing an invisible dimension that coexists with the visible one. Together, these two realities create a multidimensional experience in which light extends beyond physical illumination into psychological and symbolic space. As part of the A Sea of Three Suns series, The Melody of Angels II further developed my investigation into the expressive possibilities of light through abstraction. The work was selected for the “Get Control” Times Square Billboard Exhibition in New York, recognizing its powerful visual language and its exploration of light as both energy and artistic expression. The ideas explored here later became an important foundation for my Crystal Flower series, where light serves as the bridge between abstraction and representation.
